Jennifer – Designer
Jennifer’s love of design began in rural Illinois, where she used to dismantle and reassemble the rooms in her mom’s house. She later studied interior design at San Diego Mesa College, where she learned to combine her love of structure and built environments with color, texture, and form.
After earning her degree, Jennifer went on to work as a Project Designer for a hospitality design firm in California, coordinating presentations and heading up special projects. Since moving to Bellingham, she has immersed herself in the local building industry, where she has focused on custom interiors.
Jennifer is inspired by contemporary architects who use innovative forms that interact with the natural environment, setting the mood for a space. At Fresh Space Redesign, Jennifer uses this philosophy to walk you through how the function and design of window coverings can affect the feel of your home. Whether you want treatments that blend seamlessly into the background, or those that make a bold statement, she has a solution for you.
Andrew – Installer
Andrew is a natural problem solver who enjoys challenging installations. Clients love how easy he is to work with and how respectful he is of their spaces. He arrives organized, providing a swift and expert installation. When the job is complete, Andrew leaves no mess or inconvenience behind. He employs a crew for larger projects, and each member of the team takes the same care and pride in their work.
Andrew is a Certified Hunter Douglas Installer, Motorization Specialist, and Master Shutter Installer. Smart home technology is another one of his specialties. For example, he can help you set up a system that allows you to control your shades away from the house. In addition, he can help find solutions for media rooms, commercial spaces, high rises and hotels.
“Jennifer is efficient, knowledgeable, and has a phenomenal design sense. She doesn’t just think window treatments, she gets the Gestalt of the home, the people who live there, its setting, and thinks outside the box to arrive at a solution which is functional and aesthetically pleasing. Jennifer is truly a design professional, not just someone who measures and pushes a product without thought to the application in a particular home.”
